We are delighted at the response to the Christmas tree that has now arrived at our green! Firstly massive thanks to Peter White at Vault security for contributing to its arrival. Being approached by local businesses to help with our projects can mean the difference between being able to go ahead or not, so many thanks Peter!

We would have loved to have had an official turning on of the lights with carols, mulled wine and mince pies but Covid and tier 3 restrictions have made that impossible. Rest assured next year Glapwell will get the start to the Christmas season it deserves!

We also have heard that residents would like to get involved with decorations. We would love to receive any homemade decorations or pictures to display at the Glapwell Centre over the coming weeks. Snowflakes for windows would be very welcome indeed to go along with the decorations currently being put up. Again due to Covid restrictions activities at the centre are limited but next year we really hope to change that and welcome all, old and new, back to the centre (which has benefitted from a redecoration over lockdown).

We love to hear from you and welcome all to the Monthly Parish Meetings public forum. These are currently being held on Zoom. Details are available here on our website and Facebook page .
